Dan is a venture capitalist with Two Sigma Ventures in NY. He is a serial entrepreneur and investor, who has founded and invested in numerous technology startups in areas as diverse as consumer internet, SaaS, and hardware; as well as several venture funds. Previously, Dan co-founded SpeedDate, a live-video online dating service with over 23 million members that was acquired by IAC. Prior to launching SpeedDate, Dan worked at IBM and Lazard’s Technology M&A Group. He also briefly lived in the Philippines where he sourced investments in agriculture and IT for the World Bank. Dan holds an MBA from Stanford and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia. Dan is also a Kauffman Fellow and a member of YPO.
